Ian Mackey

Hi! I'm Ian Mackey, a 2nd year here at Lawrence University in the Dual Degree program, meaning I'll graduate in 2029 with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Music in Trombone Performance - Jazz Emphasis. I'm from De Pere, Wisconsin, a suburb of Green Bay about 40 minutes north of campus. I've been involved with a lot of different ensembles and clubs here on campus, including the Jazz and Gender Equity Initiative, LU Swing Dance, Pep Band, as well as the Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, Jazz Combo, New Music Ensemble, and a lot of chamber music.

Will Coy-Bjork

Hello! My name is Will Coy-Bjork. I'm a junior majoring in Psychology and minoring in Studio Art. I'm also a member of the LU Rockers, our rock climbing club here at Lawrence. I'm looking forward to studying abroad in Amsterdam during my senior year!

Lilly Bates

Hi! My name is Lilly and I am from Appleton. I am a senior majoring in government and minoring in philosophy for pre-law and plan to graduate in fall of 2026. On campus I am involved in Kappa Alpha Theta, Judicial Board, and Mortar Board. My favorite things about Lawrence have been the professors who are all so knowledgeable and kind and the small class sizes.

Grace Nguyen

Hello! My name is Grace. I'm an international student from Saigon, Vietnam. I'm a rising junior, majoring in Piano Performance with a minor in Piano Pedagogy. On campus, I'm a member of the VSA organization and the Conservatory Tech Crew team, as well as an upcoming community advisor of Ormsby Hall. I would love to share with you everything I know about Lawrence!

Meredith Meidl

Hi!
I'm Meredith and I'm from Antigo, WI (~1.5 hours north of Appleton). I am currently a sophomore, double majoring in Environmental Studies and Government. So far my favorite class at Lawrence has been Introduction to Environmental Policy. My favorite place on campus is the Steitz atrium - it's a great place to study and hang out! In my free time I enjoy going to coffee shops downtown with my friends (my favorite one is Copper Rock), taking walks along the Fox River, and checking out local parks (my favorite is Heckrodt Wetland Reserve). After graduation, I hope to either attend graduate school for Environmental Law or work in Environmental Policy.
