    CharlieCharlie (she/they)

“Navigating the admissions process as a homeschooled student was certainly a challenge, and I would be happy to speak to prospective families/students about my experience 😊"

Charlie is majoring in Politics & Material Culture. The major is multidisciplinary and draws on the fields of political science, art history, and studio art. I’m involved with a few clubs on campus, including the film photographers of LU and SLUG, the Sustainable Lawrence University Garden. Over the summer, I worked for my sculpture professor as a studio assistant in addition to producing and assembling my own gallery show of sculpture. Additionally, with funding from the Lawrence University Sustainability Grant, I started my honors project, which consists of a small format photobook of self-portraits I captured in North Cascade National Park. I chose to attend Lawrence because of the one-on-one relationship's students get to form with their professors, and I could not be more happy with my decision!
